Cowboys owner Jerry Jones updates Dak Prescott as he waits to upgrade on $160,000,000 contract.

Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys agreed to a four-year, $160 million contract extension before the start of the 2021 season.

As he reaches the final year of his current contract, the Dallas Cowboys will have to make a business choice on whether or not to extend him again.

On Tuesday morning, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones provided an update on Prescott and his future with the team.

Jones told 105.3 The Fan that Prescott's next contract is always on his mind and that he hopes a deal will be reached shortly.

Calvin Watkins, a Cowboys reporter for The Dallas News, backed up Machota's account, saying an extension could come at any time

Dallas selected Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year as a rookie after filling in for an ailing Tony Romo.

He has been selected to two Pro Bowls and was named the 2022 Walter Payton Man of the Year.

He has a 61-36 regular season record with Dallas, has thrown for 24,943 yards, 166 touchdowns, 65 interceptions, and has completed 66.6 percent of his passes.
