Niners prepare for Week 1 without Nick Bosa as contract holdout continues.

Less than a week before their Week 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers,

the San Francisco 49ers took to the practice field on Monday. They accomplished so despite,

their standoffish star defensive end Nick Bosa. Due to his desire for a new long-term agreement,

Bosa has not been to the 49ers' facilities. The fifth-year option for the second-overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft,

which San Francisco chose to exercise, is set to pay him $17.8 million. Given that Bosa,

has been selected for three Pro Bowls and was voted Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 after,

recording a league-high 18.5 sacks in 16 games, it was an easy decision to choose.

However, Bosa is looking for payment for that kind of output. According to The Mercury News,
