The release date of John Wick: Chapter 4 has been pushed back a few weeks.
John Wick 4 has been one of 2023's largest R-rated box office triumphs,
generating $430 million worldwide, surpassing its predecessor by more than $100 million and
becoming the highest-grossing film in this new Keanu Reeves-starring franchise.
As the Wick legend reached new heights,
Reeves' hero engaged in yet another epic struggle against the enigmatic High Table, bringing along a superb cast of actors.
Starz has officially announced that John Wick: Chapter 4 will be available to stream on the service beginning on Friday, September 15.
This gives the film a 175-day window between its March 24 theatrical release and its streaming debut.
This differs from the original release date for John Wick 4, which was set to air on Starz on September 26. It will now be available on streaming nine days earlier.
John Wick 4 will remain on Starz for its Pay 1 window (roughly 18 months) before joining the original three John Wick flicks on Peacock sometime in April or May 2025.
This film now has one of the longest theatrical-to-streaming windows of any blockbuster film released in the first half of 2023.
This year's second-highest-grossing film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, earned almost $1.35 billion in its first 120 days on the big screen.
