Saints Rookie QB Suspended Six Games

Jake Haener, a rookie quarterback with the Saints, was suspended by the NFL for the first six games,

of the regular season on Wednesday afternoon. This is because the NFL's policy,

on performance-enhancing drugs was broken. The league's official statement is provided below:

For violating the NFL Policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances,

Jake Haener of the New Orleans Saints has been suspended for the first six games of the 2023 regular,

season without pay. On Monday, October 16, after the team's Week 6 game against Houston,

Haener will be qualified to join the Saints' active roster once again.

This would explain why Taysom Hill's classification was changed from tight end to quarterback.
