Sixers to trade $90M scorer for James Harden, Furkan Korkmaz

James Harden is still with the Philadelphia 76ers. He has demanded a trade since June 29, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania, but he has remained on the team.

Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report proposed a trade that would send Harden and Furkan Korkmaz to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Buckley recommended the Sixers and Clippers trading places.Sixers get Norman Powell, Nicolas Batum, Terance Mann, Brandon Boston Jr., and others.

Buckley did not explain why the Sixers would want that package back for Harden and Korkmaz, but he did explain why the Clippers would want those two in particular, particularly Harden.

"Harden may not have the same burst he once had, but he's an elite playmaker (leading the league in assists last season) who could thrive as a third option in this offense."

The Clippers also have enough perimeter stoppers to compensate for his shortcomings there.

"Korkmaz would make the money work, but if he ever developed a reliable three-point shot, he could get playing time."
