Tom Brady has disclosed that his son Benjamin has chosen a different road than his father, hoping to be like Rob Gronkowski, sometimes known as Gronk.
Unlike Brady's own quarterback history, his kid has voiced a strong desire to excel as a tight end, inspired by Brady's former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers colleague, Gronk.
According to Brady, Benjamin aspires to be the NFL's next top tight end, and he is assisting him in that endeavor.
Brady informed Gronkowski of his son's dream through text message. "My son is going to play football this year,
so I've been throwing the ball to him in the backyard," Brady explained on SiriusXM's Let's Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray.
"He aspires to be a tight end like Gronk, and he's going to be a beast."He's a wonderful young man with many qualities.
He's a fantastic musician and artist."Then, this year, he informed me, 'Dad, I'm playing football,' and I asked, 'What do you want to play?'
"He was like, 'Tight end, I wanna be like Gronk!'"So I texted Gronk and said, 'Yo, my boy wants to be like you!' He loved it.
""And, my daughter has me kicking the soccer ball, so I'm out there in the backyard throwing around last night."
I'm having a great time with this new adventure. There's so much to live for in life."
